As a member of the American Society of Botanical Artists, Hillary competes throughout the year in Juried International Botanical Exhibitions. These shows bring together the top artists in their field from around the world and create exquisite exhibits in museums, botanical gardens and at the Horticultural Society of New York. In addition, she shows her paintings in galleries throughout the U.S. and when time permits, prepares for group and solo shows.

Hillary has enjoyed working successfully with designers, art consultants and private collectors for the past 20 years. Her commissions range from contemporary to very traditional in composition. Whether for private collectors or luxury resorts, she is often asked to paint subject matter indigenous to a particular region of the world.  From Ecuador to El Salvador, Singapore to South Africa, her research is thorough and extensive. She loves exploring new places and educating the viewer through her paintings.
